Why choose

Swakeleys Sixth Form

Swakeleys Sixth Form has a proven track record of supporting students to reach their academic potential and achieve outstanding grades. In 2025 24% of our students achieved an A*-A  and 90% of our students achieved an A*-C Grade. These results are the product of our students commitment to their studies as well as the support given by our dedicated 6th Form teachers, expertly guiding students to do their best. We offer a wide range of courses to support students with a wide variety of future pathways.

At Swakeleys Sixth Form we also encourage students to be aspirational. We are always so proud and excited to see the variety of pathways students take when they leave us. Over 90% of our cohort from 2025 secured a University place of their choice. At Swakeleys Sixth form we offer an Oxbridge/medicine pathway with specialist monthly support. We are proud that 100% of the  students who applied for medicine/vet med in 2025 were successful in securing a place this year. We also encourage students to consider apprenticeships and degree apprenticeships as excellent alternative pathways.

We also believe that alongside helping students to reach their academic potential that it is also vital that we empower students to develop wider skills that will enable them to thrive in their future workplace as well as a make a positive contribution to their communities. This is why we run a comprehensive character and culture curriculum, offering students a multitude of different opportunities to develop themselves outside of the classroom. This includes an oracy programme, work experience, volunteering award scheme, student leadership programme & extra curricular clubs and regular social events.

Swakeleys Sixth Form also takes student wellbeing very seriously. We want all of our students to feel safe, valued and happy. We therefore have put in place a range of support for students wellbeing, including an experienced tutor team, Pastoral lead, mental health student ambassadors and support staff who are able to help students deal with challenges they may face.
