In our sixth form there is life beyond the classroom. All students take part in a wide range of extra-curricular activities, volunteering opportunities and take on leadership responsibilities within the school. Our weekly personal development sessions, fortnightly Branch Out Lecture Series with a range of speakers from different industries, and our Futures Programme in July of Year 12, will prepare you to be a leader in your chosen field.
This is an exciting time to join Oak Wood Sixth Form. In September 2022, we moved into a dedicated Sixth Form Centre with state-of-the-art facilities. The new building has dedicated sixth form classrooms, a large open plan common room with a cafe and access to outdoor seating, and a study room with individual work and collaborative work spaces.
